The Ansbach Dive Club provides PADI training for Open Water through Dive Master. In order to help facilitate active, competent and safe diving, continuing education is available with the following specialties:

 

 

Altitude Diver

Any dive above 1000 ft/300 m demands special considerations with both your dive tables and gauges. We typically dive between 3000-4000 ft on our Austria trips.

 

Drysuit Diver 

Want to increase your dive season or need something warmer than a wetsuit? Stay warm on your dives by implementing techniques for using a drysuit.

Deep Diver

The deep has a certain lure to it, but one must understand the skills associated with deep diving. Learn the skills needed for safe diving to the depths of 18-30 metres / 60-100 feet.

Underwater Digital Photography

Do you enjoy taking digital pictures? I sure so! What a wonderful way to not only merge to hobbies, but share your dive memories.

Enriched Air Nitrox Diver

Stay down longer and get back in the water sooner. Learn how to dive using Enriched Air Nitrox, PADI’s most popular specialty course. No dives required!

Night Diver

Learn about night dive planning, equipment and navigation.  Required equipment: 2 underwater flashlights and 2 chem lights.

Search & Recovery Diver

Need to find an object? Learn search underwater search patterns, deploy a reel and lift bag and bring object safely to the surface. Required equipment: a reel and lift bag. Knot tying knowledge is extremely helpful.

Wreck Diver

Learn how to explore sunken shipwrecks, planes and even automobiles.

Peak Performance Buoyancy

Neutral buoyancy is the key to conserving your air consumption, lengthing dive dive and leaving minimal impact on the aquatic environment. This course hones buoyancy skills to help make dives less stressful and more productive. 

Underwater Navigator

Where is the boat anchor? Learn the skills of navigating shipwrecks, reefs or any dive site. Learn how to identify natural landmarks and using a compass.
